Create an account

Citizens will create an account and set up family profiles. These details will be used to determine their priority. They will then be able to allocate their preferred vaccine provider. Finally, they will receive a unique code that can be used to sign in when they attend the appointment.

Wait for availability

Based on a users priority, they will be required to wait until their provider has available stock.

Notification

Notified when available

Based on a users priority, they will be required to wait until their provider has available inventory.

Book a time

Book an appointment

Once notified, citizens can log in to VaccineConnect and select an appropriate time for their appointment. They will receive a confirmation and then reminder notifications as their appointment gets closer.

Sign in

Sign in on arrival

Upon arrival, the healthcare staff will scan the unique codes to verify the appointment and patient details.

Get vaccine

Get vaccinated

Healthcare staff will then supply the vaccination and fill out the required form(s) online.

Sync with AIR

Details written to AIR

Finally, either the PMS or VaccineConnect will send this information to the Australian Immunisation Register, to be stored against the appropriate patient profile.
